OCD Sacramento Presents: “Love The One You’re With?”

This presentation is geared towards an all-inclusive audience of sufferers, supportive family and friends, and clinicians alike, who, are curious about Relationship Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Please join us as we explore how to spot the signs, when to seek treatment, and what can be done to help sufferers, and their partners, have a healthier, more satisfying relationship. In addition, we will consider the societal impact on the need to obtain the “right” relationship and the role of one’s values in treatment.

Mallory Eastman, MA, LMFT, holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from William Jessup University. While completing her degrees, she partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters Sacramento to create an after school mentor ship program for middle schools in her community. She then began working at The Relationship Skills Center and The Gender Health Center alike, developing a deeper knowledge of the issues of inter-racial couples, blended families, and the LGBT community. She has a commitment to meeting individuals where they are and a willingness to help foster an environment for safe and nonjudgmental exploration in her specialization in anxiety disorders. Her strength-based approach incorporates Narrative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Mindfulness.
