Usher syndrome is a condition characterized by hearing loss or deafness and progressive vision loss. My guest, Rebecca Alexander will be joining me LIVE from New York to share her compelling journey which began at 12 years old and years later, to be told that she would be blind by the time she was 30. Currently working as a psychologist and traveling the Country to share her story, Rebecca will talk about this condition, signs to look out for, her incredible optimism, and how advocacy has changed her life.

Rebecca will join me to share her story of bravery, how she was able to turn fear into inspiration, and more importantly, raise awareness through advocacy about this rare condition. She works as a psychotherapist in private practice, tours as a speaker, and has written a memoir called Not Fade Away.
