Many first responders experience extreme stress in the line of duty. Often times pushing through the anxiety that surfaces, without proper and immediate treatment and attention, symptoms can exacerbate causing both emotional and physical impairment. This presentation will help both supervisors and those working in the field to recognize how anxiety can manifest, what to look for, and how to access treatment. Closed event.

Many people hear that “CBT” or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is the front-line treatment modality for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). While this can be a component of treatment, the gold-standard is Exposure and Response Prevention or ERP, which in it's truest form, looks very different than CBT. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about these differences, when to apply them, and how to develop a case conceptualization. Closed event to Kaiser medical and mental health employees.
